Kevin Magnussen new ambassador for American Porsche team MDK Motorsports

In parallel with his contract with Haas F1 Team, Kevin Magnussen now joins forces with American motorsport team MDK Motorsports. Here, the Danish Formula One driver will help attract, motivate and develop young talents who dream of a career in the motorsport world.

MDK Motorsports is competing in their inaugural season in both the Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Porsche Sprint Challenge North America. Operated out of the former racing shop for Meyer Shank Racing, the Central Ohio-based MDK Motorsports team is led by team owner and driver, Mark Kvamme alongside his wife and team CEO, Megan Kvamme.

Mark Kvamme is known as a venture capitalist in the American tech industry, but also as an enthusiastic racing driver, who made his debut in the American sports car championship in 2014 and participated in this year's edition of the 24-hour race at Le Mans.

– It is a huge honor to be allowed to help attract, motivate and develop young motorsport talents together with MDK Motorsports. Mark Kvamme is a true motorsport enthusiast with an enormous passion for racing and knows what it takes to run a serious and ambitious team at the highest level. At the same time, the team is based in the USA, which is a nation with a very special motorsport spirit, which I have experienced through my father's many years in the American sports car championship and not least through my own career with Cadillac. I am excited about the collaboration with MDK Motorsports and look forward to seeing what results we can achieve together, says Kevin Magnussen.
